My client is a leading Utilities organisation in the centre of Brussels searching for a strong Data/Business Intelligence Analyst on an initial 12 month contract with plenty of scope for extension.

Key Skills
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Power BI - Must have skill
  • Minimum 3-5 Years experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Dutch speaking - Bonus (not a necessity)
  • 1-2 Days onsite per week, rest remote
Key responsibilities
Performance Analysis:
  • Monitor the correct execution of the day-to-day commercial processes and proactively identify and react on potential problems.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the companys commercial performance metrics (e.g. value capture, revenue per product, customer bidding behaviour, ).
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights that could lead to enhanced commercial performance.
  • Perform competitive benchmarking.
  • Validate monthly Sales invoices.
Financial Modelling:
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support revenue forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
  • Provide financial insights to support commercial negotiations and decision-making related to auction strategy, new products, ancillary service tenders ).
Reporting and Data Warehouse:
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on commercial performance and relevant market information to internal stakeholders (e.g. Management Committee, Board of Directors ).
  • Deliver the recurring external reports (e.g. imbalance reporting)
  • Provide Finance with the monthly revenue forecasts.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting on the results of important auctions.
