Our client is an internationally renowned insurance group and very active in the Belgian market. As part of its development, it is looking for a Solution Architect Cloud within the architecture team. You will be integrated into the BtoB part of the structure to support the business in the development of their solutions.

You will be integrated into the BtoB part of the structure to support the business in the development of their solutions.

Description
As a Solution Architect within the Architecture team, here are your responsibilities
  • Understand the business you are working for.
  • Contribute to the target architecture roadmap.
  • Define the best solution considering the target architecture, company KPIs, and project constraints (planning, budget, security, NFRs, etc.).
  • Propose innovative solutions.
  • Advocate for your solution.
  • Reuse existing assets and create reusable assets whenever possible.
  • Document the architectural choices you have made in your thinking (application components, integrations, application cooperation, informational and technological viewpoints).
  • Explain your solution choices in a language understandable by the business and delivery teams.
  • Report to the Enterprise Architect in your domain.
  • Work closely with Business Architects and Delivery Managers.
  • Monitor delivery from an architectural perspective, ensuring compliance with plans.
  • Be the partner of key functional and technical engineers.

Profile
  • Very good knowledge of architectural integration models (services, APIs, event-driven architecture, etc.) and concepts (SOA, component subdivision, MicroServices, micro frontends, etc.).
  • Ability to design your solution using the ArchiMate modeling language.
  • Knowledge of SparX Enterprise Architect is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of cloud platforms. Any experience with AWS and Azure is an asset.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in French/English or Dutch/English.
  • Experience in the digital Sales process in the insurance domain is an asset.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment.
  • Fast learning ability.
  • Good networking and influencing skills.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Very good knowledge of IT market trends and technological developments.
  • Flexible, proactive, structured, and quality-oriented.
