Our client is an international leader of the Automotive sector, with a strong and consistent growth (+15% in 2023), and a heavy commitment to sustainability. Their Belgian entities are located in brand new offices in Zaventem.
Description
Prepare the manual entries and month-end closing (including intercompany & related parties)Assist with year-end closing (with assistance from Head of Accounting)Support on the preparation of the closing & management reporting Prepare the VAT declaration/ customer listing Prepare NBB declaration (Intrastat) Control the standard cost accounts and report to the account manager Monitor and control outgoing & incoming invoices (review & approve in the system), as well as payment requests Support in the statutory audit processProfile
- Bachelor degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a GL / Senior Accountant position
- Fluent in English and either Dutch or French (good command of both national languages is a strong asset)
- Excellent BEGAAP skills (experience working with IFRS is a strong asset)
- A first experience working in an international company (ideally in the automotive sector) is an asset
- Experience working with SAP is an asset
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented, strong problem solving and analysis skills
