your job

Ensure the satisfaction of our business partners by providing added value through procurement services.Drive cost reductions and savings while upholding governance and compliance regulations.Analyze and optimize procurement needs assigned by the Head of Purchasing.Maintain proactive communication with internal business partners to anticipate purchase requirements.Execute the local purchase process, including setting up purchase requests and orders, identifying suppliers, organizing tenders, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.Document savings following company protocols.Participate in meetings as requested by the Head of Purchasing.Support local supplier management activities, including classification, evaluation, and communication with major suppliers.Address payment, invoice, quality, and dispute issues in collaboration with Accounting and Business teams.
your profile Engineering or Economics university degree (preferably) with a good technical background (by diploma or by experience).Excellent procurement experience: at least 5 years of relevant experience. Solid skills in the use of STAR (SAP) software.Preferably good knowledge of power plant environment including processes, principles & main equipment.Good communication skills.Team player.Capacity to negotiate under a challenging and complex context. Fluent English & French skills.Fluency in Dutch.
