We are looking for a Power BI specialist and administrator.

The scope is about being the central person for implementation and maintenance of PowerBI solutions.

Being the central person concerning Power BI. He or she has the responsibility of creating and maintaining a PowerBI community which aims to support and guide users implementing their reports. Defining and monitoring development standards and guidelines will be part of the mission in this context. As PowerBI administrator, this person is able to monitor this technical environment and propose improvements where needed. This person will also be asked to develop reports for the data team and other internal teams.

Power BI Administrator

Monitoring of the Power BI environment at corporate level Proposing and implementing improvements where needed Creating and animating a Power BI community Support & coaching to business users concerning usage of Power BI Redaction and sharing of best practices Development of new reports for the data team or other internal teams Advisory role for development of new reports for the data team or other internal teams
your profile personal skills:
Must work well independently, and in a collaborative team environment Solution driven / Pragmatic Strong problem-solving skills Proactive and flexible Strong verbal / written communications and presentation skills Coaching & training skills Client friendly Fluent speaking/reading/writing in English, Dutch and French Master degree in Informatics or equivalent through experiencework experience: Experience in DWH concepts and run Experience as BI developer on SQL Server based technologiesExperience on projects with different technology stacks, integration aspects (with packages or external solutions) & infrastructure aspects
technical experience: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI in an administrator and developer roleBeing aware of best practices, trends & evolutions of the IT industry and most particularly Microsoft SQL Server technologies stacks and Power BIKnowledge about/experience in DWH running in Azure environmentfunctional experience: Ability to interact with Business Owners and gather Business Requirements Ability to translate Business Requirements into functional & technical Requirements. Database modelling via modelling tools such as Erwin or Vision
