Job Description
The National Director / General Manager in Belgium is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the organization's operations within the country. This position involves strategic leadership and expanding the Belgian branch's activities in areas such as:
Define and implementation of strategy while overseeing and directing the operations in Belgium. Building and enhancing relationships with various stakeholders, such as donors & contributors, corporate sponsors, volunteers, media, and other external partners. Expanding networks and exploring new market segments to meet growth targets. Full responsibility for the budget and achieving of strategic 5-year plan. Engaging in international projects.Ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The Successful ApplicantIdeally this person combines a corporate experience with a similar role within a non-profit or charity organization. In addition is:
Familiar with marketing, communication and setting up fundraising campaigns. Strategic and analytical with pragmatic hands-on mindset. Strong communication skills, towards both internal and external stakeholders.People management capability.Fluent in English, French and Dutch (written and spoken).
