Functional Analyst MES

Your Mission

Your main mission is to implement and coordinate projects related to Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) applications in Puratos companies.

What you will do

You will be part of the journey to implement new application technologies related to MES and related applications. You will participate in the template and pilot project, growing your expertise along the way to become the Puratos MES specialist. Your role will involve supporting the MES implementation roadmap of this new solution across the global Puratos organization. You will work under the guidance and in close collaboration with senior colleagues, as well as closely collaborating with the external product development partner and interacting with the business community.

The key tasks are split into three major areas:

  • Implement MES/MOM applications in Puratos subsidiaries:
    • Analyze the as-is processes of the company.
    • Ensure template rules and data are documented and applied.
    • Propose and develop solutions to address gaps.
  • Optimize the system used in subsidiaries running the MES application and stimulate business adoption:
    • Analyze and identify improvement and best practice areas within the organization (process, department, branch).
    • Organize post-implementation reviews and training sessions.
    • Implement additional functionalities (optimization and retrofitting).
    • Stimulate continuous improvement through benchmarking.
  • Support the MES applications installed by HQ.

What we expect from you

  • Your Education and Expertise:
    • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or a similar field).
    • With over 3 years of experience, you bring valuable insights to the table.
    • Your IT background in an industrial environment sets you apart.
  • Tech-Savvy You:
    • You excel in technologies like Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, and Java.
    • Siemens PCS7 and Simatic Batch? You've got this
  • Passion and Team Spirit:
    • The process industry ignites your passion, especially within a production context.
    • As a solid team player, you thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Problem-Solving Pro:
    • Your analytical skills are top-notch.
    • Whether it's post-implementation reviews or proposing solutions, you tackle challenges head-on.
  • Global Collaborator:
    • Fluent in written and spoken English, you bridge gaps across cultures.
    • Dutch or French? You handle those too
  • Ready to Roam:
    • You're up for travel—20%? No problem
