NTT Data is currently looking for a Senior Test Manager SAP for one of our clients in the telecommunications sector based in Brussels.

This role will be working in a hybrid working model.

Context The SAP Senior Test Manager is likely to be involved in multiple projects, mainly in different areas (Finance, Logistics, Maintenance, Production, etc. but not exclusively.

As part of the plans to implement new business processes in SAP, the consultant we are looking for will be experienced in all types of solution testing between IT and the business.

The position requires both functional and technical experience and understanding in the required skill set.

He or she will be a team player, able to plan and work independently with IT experts and also with business users.

In addition, the consultant will be able to give colleagues advice and coaching in the area of testing.

Responsibilities:
  • As part of a project, the consultant : Is able to implement a testing strategy and testing approach for a project as well as for changes to the current solution.
  • draw up an integrated test plan with the support of the Project Manager and / or functional and business consultants.
  • Implements and manages the follow-up of tests and identified anomalies (including the follow-up of anomaly resolution).
  • Defines the scope and schedule for the various phases and implements detailed test monitoring (real-time dashboard).
  • Monitors the development of the various test scenarios based on the project blueprint and helps with their execution where necessary
  • Monitors the progress of tests against the schedule and reports anomalies, including the associated risks, and reports to the IT PM and the Project Steering Committee.
  • Ensures that documentation and training are in line with testing requirements
  • Checks that all the applications and interfaces concerned are tested to guarantee 'no' regression after production start-up
  • Familiarise yourself with the SAP IS-U and ECC6 application and related applications
May also be involved in the following activities :
  • Contributing to the drafting of test scenarios
  • Contributing to the execution of test scenarios
  • Monitoring user testsHelping to train usersPromote standard testing solutions and take initiatives to ensure that knowledge relevant to this area is shared with the business and is in line with the evolution of the project delivery and schedule.
  • maintain or create test and documentation templates
  • Collaborate with other IT and business teams to ensure the delivery of consistent, high quality solutions throughout all stages of the project lifecycle (Explore - Realize - Deliver).
Desired profile:
  • At least 10 years' experience in testing related to an ERP application implementation project.
  • Demonstrate experience of a project involving the delivery or modification of an SAP ECC6 and / or S4 system
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of a testing methodology such as ISTQB
  • Demonstrate two successful test management experiences in the last 5 years in complex IT projects (e.g. ERP) and in the identification or implementation of application improvements as a result of testing.
  • Ability to interact (verbally and in writing) in either French or Dutch, and at least a passive knowledge of the other language.
This ability will be verified, if necessary, during the interview.

Have a good technical knowledge of English, which will be verified, if necessary, during the interview.
