Powder Scientist

We are looking for a Powder Scientist for one of our clients based in Braine-l'Alleud/Wavre.

This is a contract as a Consultant (employee or freelance): project until 31/12/2024 - to be renewed in the end of the year.

responsabilités

As a Powder Scientist, here are the tasks you'll do:

Participate to the development of new products and processesGive directions from early development up to lifecycle management, from particle design up to final productUse your creativity to develop new analytical methods or even develop new technologyBeing a leader in powder characterization by leveraging Materials Science to drive overall Product Development in order to obtain the right drug for every patientGuide the Product Development by connecting powder / particle insights with manufacturing technologies and overall product performanceCombine particle knowledge with crystallization science to optimize expected powder propertiesDeveloping method and performing analyses on active ingredient, drug product and excipients in the field of powder characterisationPerforming chemical imaging on drug product or intermediatesBeing the reference person in powder characterization and training colleaguesApplying QbD principles, multivariate analyses, and being in support of PAT developmentWriting reports and give internal and external presentations
qualifications As a Powder Scientist, here are the requirements:
Master / PhD in chemistry, pharmaceutics, physics or engineering or equivalent experience, on powder characterizationFluent in EnglishAbility to work at the interfaceAble to combine multiple tasks and work simultaneously on different projectsSoft skills: entrepreneurship, motivated, enthusiastic, reliable, team player, good communicator
