Courier Coordinator

Your main task as Courier Coordinator (m/f/d) and thus as the first contact person for our couriers will be to manage, supervise, and continuously develop a fleet of approx. 300 drivers. In addition, the position includes the following:

• You will have responsibility for the operations and processes in the Hub and assist in their new and continued development
• You will report directly to site management, our City Operations Manager, and will be in frequent communication with staff at other sites and other departments at other locations, as well as other departments
• You will assist with shift scheduling
• You build good relationships with your team of drivers and assist them with questions or problems
• You support them from the first shift on with regular feedback meetings to drive opportunities for improvements
• You continuously find solutions to improve the reliability of your team

Ready to become our new Courier Coordinator (m/f/d)? You should bring the following with you:

• Ideally first experience in a relevant role (logistics, last-mile delivery, fleet management, office management, customer service, etc.);
• First leadership experience is an advantage
• You are able to work onsite and in shifts between 8.00AM PM as well as on weekends
• Excellent English skills, Dutch is a plus
• You are stress-resistant and can work solution-oriented
• You have a proactive, well-organized, calm and prudent approach to your job
• An open, honest and direct communicative manner, as well as a team player mentality
