A chemical company based in the south of Antwerp is looking for an HSE Coordinator to join their team. As an HSE Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of the operations on site.

In this role as HSE Coordinator some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE best practices and procedures
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk assessment and management strategies
  • Act as a point of contact for external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and auditors.

About you:

  • You have a master's degree or any relevant degree
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE
  • You have strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards
  • You are able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • You speak Dutch and English.
