Telematics Coördinator

For our client, based in Vilvoorde, we are looking for a Telematics Coördinator to assist with technical and field support activities for distributors and customers. As they expand the utilization and monetization of telematics at their customers' sites and meet their service level expectations, we aim to strengthen their Telematics team.

This team focuses on analysing data from the black boxes located in their excavators. These black boxes are attached to their machines via electrical cabling and provide data on their performance. Think of the sensors and pressure technology needed to keep these machines functioning optimally. Based on data analyses, improvement proposals as well as market propositions can be made. Goal = better machines and better guidance for their distributors and customers.

Your areas of responsibilty:

- Provide timely and effective technical telematic support to distributors.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on and off-site related to their telematics devices and platforms.
- Follow up on distributor inquiries in their support ticketing system.
- Assist in supporting customers and distributors with in-depth telematics knowledge regarding hardware, software, technical specifications, and installations.
- Provide insights about competitor (including third-party) telematics offerings from field and online research and report findings to management.
- Visit customers and distributors to support telematics-related projects, conduct site studies, and follow up post-installation. This part of your job will only be gradually implemented in your duties after one year.

Minimum bachelor degree, either within the field of IT and interest in electronics or visa versa.
- You can already bring some experience to the work floor
- You are customer-minded and have the ability to communicate clear and precise
- You have an analytical mindset
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- you have a keen Interest in data and telematics (don't need to know what this is from the beginning)
- You work in a structured way
- You have very good communication skills in English (main communication language), with knowledge of French and German being an added value
- You have a willingness to travel within Europe and Africa after one year - Always with short periods where you have to go assist a customer (couple of days) - Never a very long period.
