Graphical Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both the graphical design of new components and the improvement of existing ones. Additionally, you will play a key role in the ongoing maintenance of the European Commission's web visual identity and contribute to the creation of visuals that enhance the user experience on EC and EU core websites.

Responsibilities:

Design new components with a strong focus on graphical elements.Improve and refine existing components to enhance their visual appeal.Maintain and evolve the web visual identity of the European Commission.Create visuals and graphics to illustrate and enrich web pages hosted on EC and EU core websites.Participate in the full user experience process, from brainstorming and research to sketches, prototypes, and final implementation.Perform basic front-end web development tasks to support your design work.
your profile Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in web design activities, including creating visuals for web pages.Strong proficiency in design tools such as Sketch and Abstract.Advanced knowledge of Photoshop.Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an asset.Previous experience within the EU Institutions is considered a significant advantage.If you are passionate about web design, user experience, and have the skills to create visually appealing web pages, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
