Student technisch laborant

Support the development of new products and reformulation of existing products, through the organization and execution of lab and plant trials, analytical and sensorial measurements and reporting.

Key tasks:
1. Organise tests (80%)
Plan, design and execute lab, application, shelf-life tests and sensory trials, in collaboration with the R&D manager

2. Organise measurements, result analysis and reporting (15%)
- Organize the analytical and texture measurements on the pure products and within applications
- Record and analyze the results and establish trial reports including conclusions interpretations and recommendations
- Coordinate the execution of benchmarking exercises (sourcing of products, gather product info, organize panel evaluation, report results)

3. Assure administrative tasks (5%)
- Keep the projects updated on the shared drive
- Define QC tests and specifications for new products
- Assist the R&D Manager in other tasks, related to regional support and innovation projects, training etc.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers related to the coordination or organization of (pilot) tests.
