Mission
Is Plant Maintenance Management your expertise and do you have the experience and ambition to enhance the way we manage Plant Maintenance across our production units in 50 countries worldwide? In this role, you will be part of our international operational excellence team based in Belgium at our HQ near Brussels with 30% expected travel. The Global Plant Maintenance Manager position is crucial within Puratos, ensuring maintenance and reliability programs optimize production lines' technical reliability and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Reporting to the Group Engineering Director (Matrix) & the Group Operational Excellence Program Manager.
Key accountabilities
- Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness by reducing breakdown time, improving asset reliability, and lowering Total Cost of Ownership.
- Develop and implement the global Plant Maintenance strategy.
- Establish a Plant Maintenance capability building plan with skills requirements and development paths across the organization.
- Evaluate asset performance and utilization, implement tools & methods, and provide coaching and support to local plants.
- Stay updated on the latest technical advancements in asset care within the food industry.
- Create standard specifications and design recommendations for equipment like compressors, pumps, valves, and packaging equipment.
Who we are looking for?
- Bachelor / Master's degree in Sciences, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance and/or engineering experience internationally.
- Proficiency in CMMS (SAP PM considered a plus).
- Good grasp of continuous improvement methodologies, OEE, FMEA, TPM.
- Proven leadership in managing and developing remote and virtual teams in Operations.
- Ability to find solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Flexibility to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Fluency in English (Spanish is a bonus).
