As Business Developer/Inside Account Manager you play an important key role within Stepstone by finding new business prospects and markets and help our clients with their recruitment needs.


We are looking for an experienced Business Developer/Inside Account Manager to join our team of inside sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding targets and delivering results.
He/She will have a successful background in implementing business strategies, identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building relationships with customers, and closing deals. He/She will be responsible for selling our products and services to customers over the phone and email.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business trends and opportunities.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and other sales tactics.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and understand their needs.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the products and services.
  • Close deals, meet sales targets, drive growth and profitability.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in our CRM system.
  • Attend events to network with potential clients and partners.

  • Proven experience as a Business Developer in a team of inside sales or similar sales/customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills, in Dutch, both verbal and written. French and English are assets.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to connect easily with potential clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CRM software's.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • As the first point of contact for new clients, it's essential for you to be personable, confident and with a smile in your voice.
