In deze rol ga je binnen Port of Antwerp-Bruges aan de slag als field expert aandrijftechnieken binnen de afdeling Technical Fleet. Technical Fleet is verantwoordelijk voor nieuwbouw, beheer, onderhoud en vernieuwing van de technische installaties van de vloot. 

De vloot van Port of Antwerp-Bruges bestaat uit circa 30 schepen, waaronder sleepboten, de hijsbok Brabo, handhavingsvaartuigen, een baggerkraan, splijtbakken, een duwboot, een peilboot en een logistiek vaartuig. 

Je ondersteunt de verantwoordelijke storingen en Elektriciteit & Instrumentatie bij het installeren en onderhouden van sturingen en systemen aan boord van de vloot. 

In je rol als field expert aandrijftechnieken behoren volgende taken en verantwoordelijkheden tot jouw functie: 

  • Je bouwt een uitgebreide kennis op van alle besturingssystemen (Praxis, Siemens,..) vermogensystemen (AC/DC-drives, BMS, PMS, ..), netwerksystemen (Canbus, Modbus, ..) 
  • Je zorgt voor een efficiënte planning en een veilige en kwalitatieve uitvoering en opvolging van de activiteiten aan jou toegewezen binnen de toegewezen middelen, budget en afgesproken timings: 
  • Je zoekt actief mee naar oplossingen van storingen op vermogensturingen, drives en sturingssystemen, etc. van de vloot
  • Je speelt een overkoepelende rol bij kleine en grote projecten (zoals revisies)
  • Je maakt gestructureerde updates van plannen en preventieve onderhoudsschema’s, assetstructuren, etc. 
  • Je assisteert bij de opmaak van bestekken betreffende onderhoud en aankoop
  • Je biedt ondersteuning bij het opstellen van de dag- en weekplanning. Je houdt nauw toezicht op de voortgang van de geplande onderhoudswerken en je stuurt bij indien nodig. Je springt bij indien nodig om zo de doeltreffendheid van de werken te verhogen
  • Je voert wekelijks acties uit op het terrein. Het betreft installatie en onderhoud van zaken die niet onder onderhoudscontracten vallen en/of aanvullend zijn op de (gespecialiseerde) techniekers elektriciteit & instrumentatie
  • Je ziet opportuniteiten om kostenbesparend te werken door directe en kleinschalige interventies uit te voeren tegenover outsourcing interventies. Je detecteert optimalisatie mogelijkheden en voert verbeteringen door waar nodig

Functieeisen

  • Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma, bij voorkeur in elektromechanica, of je hebt minstens 5 jaar gelijkwaardige relevante ervaring in een soortgelijke functie 

  • Je hebt technische kennis en ervaring met allerhande installaties, systemen en materialen aan boord van schepen

  • Je bezit een basiskennis van navigatie- en communicatiesystemen aan boord 

  • Je bent een vlotte communicator zowel mondeling als schriftelijk met interne en externe partners

  • Je kan vlot technische plannen en flowcharts raadplegen, lezen en opstellen  

  • Kwaliteit, veiligheid en milieuzorg zijn voor jou geen onbekende begrippen
