Our client, a company active in a manufacturing sector based in Nivelles is urgently looking for a Freelance Inventory manager for a period of minimum 6 months.

The Freelance Inventory Manager's key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and manage stock levels, both domestically and internationally.
• Serve as the liaison between sales teams and production teams to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Conduct data analysis to support production management and stock optimization.
• Ensure efficient use of the SAP system for inventory control and data management.
• Report on stock movements and trends to support business decisions.

At the Site Level:

• Coordinate stock replenishment with planning and sales teams.
• Develop and implement stock replenishment policies.
• Monitor stock levels using performance indicators and take corrective action as needed.
• Optimise inventory cost structures.
• Implement necessary inventory management tools (IT systems, etc.).

Cross-functional Responsibilities:

• Manage "make-to-stock" activities and ensure contract execution.
• Provide operational support to external stock partners.
• Organize and oversee biannual physical inventories with external stock partners and ensure stock accuracy.

The key qualifications required for the role of Inventory Manager:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in inventory management, with a strong understanding of both sales and production processes.
• Proficiency in SAP and experience with data analysis for production and inventory management.
• Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).
