De Profel Group is sinds haar ontstaan in 1948 een 100% familiebedrijf. De business unit Profel Ramen & Deuren te Pelt is gespecialiseerd in op maat gemaakt buitenschrijnwerk in pvc, aluminium en hout. Functieomschrijving Profel, opgericht in 1948, is een Belgisch familiebedrijf gespecialiseerd in buitenschrijnwerk. De Profel Groep overkoepelt een waaier aan productie-eenheden. De business unit Profel Extrusion & Finishing extrudeert, anodiseert en moffelt aluminium profielen. Profel Ramen & Deuren is gespecialiseerd in op maat gemaakt buitenschrijnwerk in pvc, aluminium en hout. Naast de ramen en deuren worden er ook tal van aanvullende producten gemaakt, zoals o.a. garagepoorten, rolluiken en verluchtingssystemen. Profel stelt vandaag meer dan 1.300 mensen te werk in België (Overpelt, Achel) en Nederland (Eersel).Jouw taken als IT System Engineer:
  • Samen met jouw team werk je mee aan de digitale transformatie binnen Profel Group. Je draagt bij aan de optimalisatie van onze infrastructuur omgeving.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de installatie, configuratie en onderhoud van onze servers, endpoints, netwerken en opslagsystemen binnen Profel Group.
  • Is er een IT project dat jij wil trekken? Profel is een werkgever die gelooft in het kunnen van hun mensen. Onder het team worden verschillende initiatieven verdeeld waar jij een verantwoordelijke rol in op zal nemen.
  • Een job binnen het Profel Hardware team is zeer gevarieerd. In deze rol zul je veel kunnen werken in de breedte en krijg je de kans om verschillende aspecten van de IT te verkennen. De ene dag denk je mee aan een nieuwe toepassing voor afdeling x, de andere dag werk je een project uit voor afdeling y. Dit in het kader van de volledige IT infrastructuur van Profel.
  • Eén maal per week ben jij aanspreekpunt voor first line support. Je volgt issues op van interne collega’s met betrekking tot hardware systemen in onze onderneming. Op termijn voorzien we ook een 24/6 dienst binnen Profel om onze collega’s nog beter te ondersteunen.
Profiel Jouw profiel als IT System Engineer: 
  • Je geeft dagelijks het beste van jezelf. Met je hands-on aanpak ben jij de perfecte aanvulling in ons sympathieke IT team.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur een Bacheloropleiding Informatica of Electronica-ICT afgerond of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je hebt technische kennis van Citrix, Windows (server), VMware en Office 365. Andere vakkennis is zeker een extra troef.
  • Je kan vlot communiceren met zowel interne als externe partners.
  • Je houdt ervan doordacht te werk te gaan en pro-actief oplossingen te bedenken voor IT gerelateerde issues.
  • Je bent Nederlandstalig maar ook van de Engelse taal heb je een degelijke basiskennis.
