With a strong commitment to excellence and a focus on driving technological advancements, Experis is seeking a talented Functional Analyst to join our team and contribute to our continued success.  Based on your location you can be assigned to a project with one of our clients in Brussels, Mechelen, Antwerp or Ghent area. Job description As a Functional Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and understanding business processes, translating business requirements into functional specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
 Key Responsibilities:
  1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document functional requirements.
    • Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Functional Specification Development:
    • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
    • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate and timely implementation of specifications.
  3. Solution Design and Documentation:
    • Design effective and efficient solutions that align with business goals.
    • Create comprehensive documentation for all functional aspects, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of solutions.
    • Provide ongoing support and clarification throughout the development lifecycle.
  5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality of implemented solutions.
    • Work closely with QA teams to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  6. User Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new functionalities.
    • Address and resolve any user-related issues in a timely manner.
Profile Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Functional Analyst in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and good knowledge of either French or Dutch.
