Job description BI Support- Oversee day to day activities of the BI support team together with your off-shore counterpart- Drive overall quality improvements in the BI support team- Drive reduction of incident numbers in the BI area- Provide reporting on BI KPIs to feed into overall Data CoE KPIsBI User community- Engage with our user community- Build out FAQ for citizen developers- Promote / organize activities & events- For new BI project requests, understand the requirements from business stakeholdersBI Delivery- Estimate the effort and provide right technical solutions for new BI projects in line with our Data team strategy - Work closely with DataOps team to facilitate the E2E delivery of BI projects Profile We are looking for person capable of:- actively suggesting improvement opportunities (especially in processes)- raising impediments and seeking support if needed.- addressing customer concerns in a positive matter, looking for mutual solutions.- understanding and documenting the customer's business requirements, workflows and business logic.- assessing the scope, effort and time of the requested solution delivery.- engaging with a user community and instilling enthusiasm for our activities & products.In your role you will:- support the growing demand for quality business insights.- support the high quality reputation of the BI Competency Center team by following (and improving) their standards.- optimize the use of our  BI ecosystem by focusing on reusability & efficiency.- work alongside your peers in the DataOps team: the BI Support team, BI Delivery members and BI architects.- work with Data CoE colleagues: Data Governance members, Data Translators, Data Scientists & MLOps Engineers.- work with DBA, Infrastructure and Operations teams to help deliver the solution.Technical and methodical skills sought:- PowerBI & Microsoft reporting stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, MSSQL, Azure Data Factory, MSSQL) is a must.- Knowledge on Snowflake, DBT is a plus.- Experience with Data Engineering or Data Cataloguing principles is a plus.- Familiar with agile methodology and (SCRUM) rituals & usage of kanban.Requirements:- Ability to work in a hybrid collaborative environment.- Strong communication skills.
