Our client is a key player in the logistics and distribution industry, focused on efficient and innovative solutions.You will be responsible of ensuring delivery of more than 70 000 goods and most importantly you take part of the Largest Logistics Projects in Vlanders. Functieomschrijving The Transport Supervisor - Night Shift will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee nightly coordination of distribution locations within a region.
- Serve as the primary contact for external transporters and internal logistics staff.
- Manage and train team members at various distribution sites.
- Implement phased distribution plans and address operational issues promptly.
- Conduct mandatory compliance checks and enforce action plans.
- Coordinate emergency response plans for disruptions.
- Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance distribution processes.
- Monitor KPIs and communicate performance metrics within the region.
- Share best practices and provide backup support for fellow coordinators.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transport, or distribution, preferably in night operations.
- Fluent in Dutch with good base in French and English
- Open for Night Shift (work hours from 1am to 9am)
- Strong coordination and autonomous decision-making skills.
- Proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent relationship-building and people management abilities.
- Proficient in IT systems and MS Office applications, including Excel.
