Terumo is een producent van medical devices. In Haasrode (Leuven) produceert Terumo zo'n 800 miljoen injectienaalden, injectieoplossingen, katheders en benodigde accessoires per jaar.
Onze sterke prestaties werden recent nogmaals beloond, met de komst van een groot pharmabedrijf voor wie wij specifiek ontwikkelde producten gaan produceren. Hiervoor zullen wij extra productiecapaciteit creëren, met een nieuw machinepark dat automatisatie combineert met doorgedreven datacaptatie.
Om de opstart van deze nieuwe productie-eenheid mee in goede banen te leiden, zoeken wij ons engineering team uit te breiden.
Job Summary
Afdeling
Engineering maakt deel uit van Het Operations & Manufacturing departement. Meer specifiek kom je terecht in de afdeling Product & Process Design Development. Hier werken we in Cross Functionele Teams. Via end to end engineering stimuleren we continue innovatie en optimalisatie van bestaande en nieuwe producten en (productie)processen.
Functie
De Industrial engineer ontwerpt de nieuwe productiecel in functie van de klantvraag, met focus op optimaliseren van de flow en de capaciteit en minimaliseren van waste.
Job ResponsibilitiesJe creëert het productieproces rekening houdend met een optimale inzet van mensen, materiaal en machines om zo de productie te behalen of te verhogen.
- Je definieert de takt tijden, capaciteitsscenario’s en Operational Excellence targets
- Je definieert de (materiaal)stroom en logistieke setup
- Je ontwerpt de productiecel, de layout en de ergonomie van de werkpost, rekening houdend met logistieke flows en nodige mankracht (man/machine ratios)
- Je stelt process work sheets op (flow, taken, methodologiën)
- Je calculeert de kost (directe en indirecte arbeid)
- Je doet methode- en tijdstudies
- Je ontwerpt het functioneel design (flow diagrammen) en de Human Machine Interface
Profiel kandidaat
- Je hebt een Masterdiploma industriële wetenschappen, richting elektromechanica
- (Een eerste) ervaring in een productieomgeving is nodig om snel een goed begrip te krijgen van onze processen.
- Je hebt deze ervaring opgedaan in een professionele, hoogtechnologische omgeving, waardoor je kennis hebt van het opzetten van lean manufacturing en een goed begrip hebt van productiekosten, methodes, ergonomics, …
- Een goede kennis van – het digitaliseren van - informatieflows en de IT-systemen daarrond (SAP, MES)
- Je hebt goede communicatievaardigheden, in het Engels en het Nederlands, gezien de vele contacten met verschillende partijen in de projecten die je behandelt.
- Unieke kans om de implementatie van de productie voor een nieuwe pharmaklant volledig mee te kunnen uitrollen.
- Injection moulding, assembly, camera’s, sensoren, PLC’s, Cobots… je vindt het bij ons allemaal om je technisch te kunnen uitleven.
- Een leerrijke, innovatieve omgeving met doorgedreven automatisatie en implementatie van LEAN en Total Productive Maintenance technieken.
