Bij Dark Light zijn we continu op zoek naar talent om onze klanten te ondersteunen bij hun data-uitdagingen. Momenteel zoeken we voor een van onze gewaardeerde klanten een ervaren Data Engineer. Deze rol biedt een unieke kans om te werken binnen een dynamische en innovatieve omgeving.

Taken

Als Data Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de implementatie van nieuwe of aangepaste functionaliteiten op het data platform van onze klant. Je bouwt en onderhoudt data pipelines en werkt nauw samen met andere data engineers, functionele analisten, solution architects, technische architecten en QA engineers binnen een agile team. Je dagelijkse taken omvatten onder andere:

  • Programmeren en opleveren van werkende code
  • Overleggen met collega's en het valideren van oplossingen
  • Reviewen van code van collega's
  • Opvolgen van operationele issues
  • Schrijven van documentatie
  • Evalueren en inschatten van user stories
Vereisten

Om succesvol te zijn in deze rol, beschik je over de volgende vaardigheden en kennis:

  • Grondige kennis van Python
  • Ervaring met NIFI of andere ELT tools
  • Ervaring met Airflow of soortgelijke orchestratie tools
  • Kennis van API builders zoals FastAPI of Flask

Daarnaast zijn de volgende vaardigheden een pluspunt:

  • Kennis van Spark en PySpark
  • Ervaring met Cloudera Data Platform (on-premise)
  • Kennis van Spark Streaming en Kafka
  • Ervaring met JDK talen zoals Java, Scala, of Groovy
  • Kennis van Javascript frameworks zoals Angular en D3
  • Ervaring met event verwerking, JSON, Apache AVRO, Parquet, Iceberg en Impala
  • Kennis van Vault Speed en SingleStore
  • Begrip van data warehousing concepten, data vault en lakehouse architectuur

Communicatie- en praktische vaardigheden:

  • Nederlandstalig
  • Aanpassen van communicatiestijl en -toon aan het publiek
  • Documentatie kunnen verwerken en toepassen in eigen ontwikkelingen
  • Zelfstandig tickets kunnen opnemen en uitwerken tot werkende code
  • Ervaring met het schrijven van datapipelines en het bouwen van functionaliteiten voor een data platform
  • Openheid en moed voor een cultuur van open feedback

Agile en Scrum:

  • Agile mindset en kennis van agile principes
  • Ervaring met de scrum werkwijze
