Join this chemical manufacturer at Kallo in a customer service role for a project of 4 months with possibility to extend
Responsibilities
- administrative creation and follow-up of customer dossier for new customers, introduced by Account Manager (AM)
- completing customer-specific data, requesting additional information from customer and AM, clearing up misunderstandings
- entering orders received from AM or customer (2 to 3 foreign languages)
- handling of telephone / written incoming orders and calls for product, new products or samples by customers or distributors
- checking stocks and other information in the system, coordinating delivery deadlines with customers
- taking care of communication with the customer, also commercially promoting the relationship by proactively giving discount in function of volume increase, etc
- checking with customer for OK in the event of deviating delivery (specifications, split order, timing, delays)
- looking for solutions in case of shortages or urgent requests for this exchange of data with Planning (for follow-up in the daily production meeting), Supply Chain, lab and logistics; R&D
- administrative follow-up by preparing invoices, adding extra costs according to procedure
- Preparation of recurring month-end reports for the financial department.
Qualifications
- Around 3 years of relevant work experience in a customer service role in a corporate setting
- Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written skills in English, French and German, with Spanish a plus
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
