For our customer in Brussels we are looking for a Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst, you play a key role in analyzing business needs and assessing the technical feasibility of specialized ICT applications. You ensure their implementation and improvement to meet the current and future needs of the FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Development Cooperation.
Reporting to the Team Leader of the "Specific Applications Program" unit and the Head of the "Project Management" Service within the ICT Management Directorate, you act as a bridge between business teams and IT in both national languages (French and Dutch).
Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs, assess the technical feasibility of proposed solutions, and ensure compatibility with existing applications.
- Oversee the development of applications in collaboration with technical teams.
- Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation.
- Organize and conduct training sessions on new applications.
- Write and update user manuals.
- Provide daily application support and troubleshoot issues.
- Document and optimize existing and desired business processes.
- Evaluate, test, and adjust applications as needed.
- Support the project manager and act as a Scrum Master.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in business analysis and process modeling (BPMN, UML).
- Strong knowledge of data architecture and governance.
- Project management expertise with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent command of French and Dutch; active knowledge of English.
