Your responsibilities:
As a Technical Expert in our Fleet Department, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the mechanical reliability and performance of our fleet. You will focus on a specialized area—such as Gearboxes, Propulsion, or another key supporting system—where you will provide deep technical insight while maintaining a broad understanding of overall engineering functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert technical support in a specialized domain (e.g., Gearboxes, Propulsion, or other mechanical systems).
- Contribute to the creation and execution of maintenance strategies aimed at optimizing fleet operations.
- Participate in fault diagnosis and root cause analysis of mechanical issues within your area of specialization.
- Assist in engineering initiatives that promote innovation, sustainability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers, classification bodies, and internal teams to uphold compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Your profile:
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or a related field) or equivalent through experience.
- Preferred 3 years of relevant experience in a technical engineering role (maritime industry experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to fleet locations or project sites (20%).
- Fluent in English; verbal and written.
