Bij de Nationale Bank van België (NBB) zijn we op zoek naar een enthousiaste expert(e) om ons team in onze dienst NBB-SSS binnen het departement Financiële markten te versterken. Deze dienst beheert het effectenvereffeningsstelsel van de Bank (NBB-SSS).

Neem dan een kijkje op en />NBB-SSS is een essentiële component van de Belgische economische infrastructuur en faciliteert de uitgifte en vereffening van overheidsobligaties en andere schuldinstrumenten. Daarnaast speelt NBB-SSS een sleutelrol binnen Target2Securities ( het Europese platform voor de vereffening van effecten. Als Financial Markets Expert draag je daardoor ook bij aan de stabiliteit en efficiëntie van de financiële markten in Europa.
Functieomschrijving In deze gevarieerde rol werk je samen met de andere teamleden aan verschillende taken:
  • je bent projectmanager voor toekomstige projecten die nieuwe functionaliteiten in NBB-SSS integreren
  • je neemt deel aan werkgroepen van het Eurosysteem in de governance-structuur van T2S waarbij je bijdraagt tot de operationele werking en de verdere ontwikkeling van het T2S-platform
  • je onderhoudt en optimaliseert de relaties met de NBB-SSS participanten en analyseert de verwachtingen van de financiële markten met betrekking tot toekomstige ontwikkelingen en innovatie
  • je werkt mee aan het uitwerken van het financieel plan van NBB-SSS, gebaseerd op de Cost Plus methode
  • je draagt bij tot het organiseren, coördineren en aansturen van de operationele activiteiten van NBB-SSS
  • je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt een netwerk van interne contacten binnen de Bank en externe partners zoals deelnemende banken in de NBB-SSS en de actoren op T2S
  • je geeft trainingen of communiceert in infosessies met de participanten
  • je helpt bij het oplossen van complexe dossiers in samenwerking met de financial account officers, market system experts en teamcoördinatoren in NBB-SSS, waarbij je ook een beroep doet op de expertise van de juridische dienst
  • je draagt proactief bij tot de continue verbetering van de werkmethodes
  • je denkt mee over de strategie van NBB-SSS
  • je bent actief in het risicobeheer en de compliance van NBB-SSS.
Profiel
  • je beschikt, bij voorkeur, over een master in (toegepaste) economische wetenschappen of handelsingenieur of je hebt een gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • je hebt een grondige kennis van vastrentende effecten en T2S of je bent bereid deze te verwerven
  • je hebt interesse in boekhouding
  • je hebt interesse in de nieuwste technologische ontwikkelingen en IT-producten die relevant zijn voor NBB-SSS
  • je hebt een klantgerichte mindset
  • je werkt graag in teamverband
  • je bent een gemotiveerde, proactieve problem solver
  • je bent flexibel en stressbestendig
  • je bent vloeiend in het Engels (minstens niveau B2) en hebt een goede kennis van het Frans (niveau B1)
  • je bent beschikbaar voor meetings in het buitenland alsook voor gebeurlijke permanentie buiten de gewone werkuren (tot 19u in thuiswerk of in de bank)
  • je geeft blijkt van neutraliteit, integriteit en discretie.
