Job Description
The central campaign team is in charge of the execution of the marketing campaigns (email, direct mail, data segmentations) for D'Ieteren Automotive (VW, Audi, SKODA, SEAT, Porsche, CUPRA, ...) and their network and contributes to the development of the CRM strategy of D'Ieteren by enriching the customer journey and by developing new activations in order to generate more business in sales and after-sales.
The Marketing Automation officer, reporting directly to the CRM Campaign Operations Manager, is in charge of:
- Challenging and advising the brands in their projects brief.
- Implementing new projects aligned with the Campaign Operations Manager.
- New activations or touchpoint in order to develop the customer centricity and the business of D'Ieteren.
- Setting up email campaigns from A to Z in the marketing automation tool.
- Making customer/prospect selection and segmentation (in line with the GDPR regulations).
- Testing and activating the campaigns.
- Making a complete reporting of the campaigns with specific recommendations to improve the impact of the next campaigns.
- Coaching and training the junior campaign officer in his/her day to day job (training on the marketing automation tools, data model explanation, processes,...).
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Automation:
- Collaborating with Marketing Project Managers to review briefs, planning, and campaign reporting.
- Analyzing campaigns quarterly to generate strategic recommendations.
- Developing CRM strategies and action plans for both short-term and long-term goals.
Campaign Execution:
- Creating and managing email marketing campaigns based on requirements and planning.
- Reviewing and refining campaign briefs to optimize results.
- Developing multi-step campaign flows and setting up CTAs, tagging, and tracking.
- Coordinating with external agencies to create activation forms for data collection, event registrations, and other actions.
- Ensuring data selection adheres to GDPR guidelines.
- Gathering and integrating all necessary materials (images, texts, videos) into dynamic campaign content.
- Testing campaigns to ensure functionality (e.g., CTAs, links, tracking, A/B testing).
- Generating and reviewing campaign previews, collecting internal feedback, and making necessary adjustments before launch.
- Informing stakeholders about campaign launches.
Campaign Monitoring & Optimization:
- Reporting on campaign performance, including open/click rates and impacts on leads and web visits
- Analyzing data to identify issues, recommend improvements, and develop best practices for future campaigns.
Customer Journey Management:
- Overseeing email communications throughout the customer journey for each brand.
- Enhancing customer journeys with new communications aimed at boosting sales, after-sales, or improving satisfaction.
- Providing performance reports and suggest improvements for these communications.
Project & Innovation Management:
- Managing CRM projects to elevate the CRM strategy, covering technical analysis, implementation, and reporting.
- Sharing best practices from similar projects and contribute to cross-organizational initiatives.
- Staying informed about industry trends and technologies.
- Proactively identifying improvements and new opportunities to advance D'Ieteren's business.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- At least 2 years of experience in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, landing pages, and customer segmentation
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
- Experience with data segmentation
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills in French and Dutch
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities, with a proven track record in cross-organizational collaboration
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload
- Strong problem-solving skills and results-oriented mindset
- Highly organized and process-driven with excellent attention to detail
- Skilled in analysis and reporting
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
