At Dekimo Experts, we support our clients in carrying out innovative projects in the fields of embedded systems, electronics, and cutting-edge technologies. We work on engineering and R&D projects with a strong technological focus, in demanding environments - often real-time - at the heart of Industry 4.0 challenges.

With over 40 years of experience, we are part of a Belgian group with an international reach, firmly established in Belgium and also present in the Netherlands, France, and Germany. Our consultants contribute to a wide range of projects in cutting-edge sectors such as aerospace, mobility, medtech, energy, and manufacturing.

As a member of the Research and Development team (team of experts and project manager)) in the Industrial Business Unit, you will be involved in various lifecycle phases of product development (in particular upgrade management on installed base, from scratch development for new product, new site deployment,…).

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the implementation, support and quality of the complete control system solution
Document the control system implementation
Write, execute and maintain unit test cases, define and execute integration tests
Develop software solutions by understanding and challenging business needs
Support internal and external customers
Deploy and upgrade control systems on site and in factory
Provide and respect estimations for workload and deadlines.
Review outcomes produced by other team members and propose improvements. Support team and feature, by providing one’s own expertise according to one’s domain
Follow best practices and rules defined at IBA. Challenge them and propose improvements

Profile

Master's degree in Engineering, automation bachelor or equivalent
5 years of experience in automation (development and support)
Analytical and critical mind, expertise in providing efficient solutions while respecting the project schedule and product/Business Line strategy
Team player and creative mindset
Experience with Wonderware SCADA (Intouch) is a plus
Willing to learn new technologies and new software methodology
PLC & Safety PLC programming (Siemens STEP7 and TIA Portal, B&R)
Industrial communications based on Profibus-DP, PROFINET, S7, and other industrial protocols
Willing to travel around 20% (international)

Result focused, able to understand and satisfy internal/external customers
Experienced in working on projects under a structured Quality Management System frequently audited by regulatory authorities
Easy going and fluent in French and English
Competent in creating high quality technical documentation
Able to work on projects in collaboration with a team and with various stakeholders
Autonomous and self-motivated

Cherry on the cake

Experience in automation with PLC Siemens S7-15XX (Or IPC)

As part of this opportunity, you will work as a Dekimo consultant at one of our clients' sites, while receiving support and guidance from our teams
