Process Analyst (Payments)
We are looking for a Process Analyst (Payments) who can start as soon as possible and is available for a short-term assignment.
This role is a temporary replacement for one of our consultants.
You will support the analysis, optimization, and implementation of payment processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document end-to-end payment processes (SEPA, SWIFT, instant payments, etc.)
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities across processes
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements for IT
- Support the implementation of process improvements and system changes
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g. PSD2, compliance frameworks)
- Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, IT, compliance, and business teams
- Contribute to testing activities (UAT) and validate implemented changes
- Monitor process performance and define KPIs
Profile
- 3–7 years of experience as a Process Analyst or Business Analyst in payments
- Strong knowledge of payment flows (SEPA, SWIFT, cards, or instant payments)
- Experience within banking or financial services is required
- Solid understanding of process modelling (BPMN or similar)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English and either Dutch or French (mandatory)
