- As Project Engineer you take technical ownership of challenging projects in HVAC automation and smart building automation. You ensure that technical installations work together reliably, efficiently and comfortably.
- You design, configure and programme HVAC and building management systems using the EcoStruxure Building Operation platform (EBO), tailored to the needs of each building and project.
- From BACnet, Modbus and IP to KNX: you integrate various protocols, installations and smart components into one clear and well-functioning building management system.
- You translate complex control strategies into practical automation solutions that help reduce energy consumption and increase comfort for building users.
- You carry out I/O and functional tests, analyse deviations and supervise commissioning and functional handover on site. This ensures that the installation is correct not only on paper, but also in practice.
- Technical dossiers, I/O lists, functional descriptions and as-built documentation form an important part of your work. Thanks to your clear documentation, clients and colleagues can easily continue.
- As the technical point of contact, you advise clients and project managers on complex automation issues. You also support colleagues with less experience and share knowledge that makes the whole team stronger.
- You work in a people-oriented organisation with short lines of communication, a flat structure and expertise across the entire process: from engineering and panel building to installation, building management and operational handover.
- Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in elektromechanica, automatisering of een vergelijkbare technische richting vormt een goede basis voor deze job.
- Je bent bekend met het Schneider Electric portfolio.
- Je brengt ongeveer 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring mee in HVAC-automatisering, gebouwbeheersystemen of een gelijkaardige technische projectomgeving. Ervaring met EBO is belangrijk; kennis van oudere systemen zoals TAC Vista of Xenta is mooi meegenomen voor migratieprojecten.
- PLC-programmering, bijvoorbeeld in Function Block Diagram of Script, en protocollen zoals BACnet, Modbus, IP en KNX zijn je vertrouwde werkterrein of vormen vaardigheden die je aantoonbaar snel kunt verdiepen.
- Een analytische kijk helpt je om storingen en complexe regelvragen snel tot de kern te herleiden. Je communiceert helder met klanten, projectleiders en techniekers, omdat een goede oplossing pas waarde krijgt wanneer iedereen ze begrijpt.
- Als project engineer en automatiseringsingenieur combineer je technische nauwkeurigheid met initiatief, leergierigheid en zin voor samenwerking. Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je werk en deelt je kennis zonder de praktische realiteit uit het oog te verliezen.
