Meerab Group is a Belgium-based Software Development and IT Consulting company serving clients across Europe. We help organizations access specialized technology expertise and deliver scalable solutions across both public and private sectors.
The consultant will be responsible for:
- Continuously screening the corporate IT portfolio to identify new or modified investments requiring assessment.
- Reviewing IT investment proposals and verifying the completeness and quality of mandatory governance documentation. project/programme charters, status reports and project-end reports.
- Performing detailed assessments of strategically important, high-risk, problematic or significantly changing IT investments.
- Performing streamlined assessments for lower-risk investments aligned with established digital strategy and security principles.
- Assessing investments considering strategic value, business value, costs, risks, security, budget and organisational priorities.
- Preparing structured assessments and provisional opinions for corporate IT governance boards and senior decision-makers.
- Evaluating aspects such as data protection, business continuity and web governance, where applicable.
- Identifying synergies, efficiency opportunities and potential areas of technological obsolescence.
- Ensuring the quality, completeness and consistency of IT investment
- Coordinating with investment owners to resolve missing, incorrect or inconsistent information.
- Analysing portfolio, investment, budget and performance data.
- Producing statistical analyses, management reports and dashboards supporting governance decisions.
- Developing communication and guidance materials explaining corporate IT governance processes, requirements and decisions.
- Contributing to the annual IT budget allocation process, including assessment and ranking of departmental budget request
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Corporate IT Governance or IT Investment Assessment.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT Project Management or Business Analysis.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Data Analysis, Statistics or Data Mining, using specialised tools such as SPSS, SAS or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in professional communication, including drafting reports, assessments or communication materials for institutional audiences.
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience using an enterprise Project
- Practical professional experience within a large public administration or organisation with a large and complex IT landscape
