Job Description

As Site Director, you will have full responsibility for a large-scale logistics operation, overseeing strategic, operational, commercial, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for the site's operational, commercial, and financial performance.
  • Ownership of P&L management, budgeting, and profitability.
  • Leadership of the local management team and broader organization.
  • Delivery of operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Management of key customer relationships and stakeholder engagement.
  • Leadership of transformation and change projects.
  • Promotion of employee engagement, safety, and compliance standards.

The Successful Applicant

Essential Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, manufacturing, or other complex operational environments.
  • Strong track record of managing multi-functional operations with full P&L responsibility.
  • Experience leading large teams and developing high-performing organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and business performance.
  • Experience leading transformation, change, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch, with a good command of French.

Preferred Experience

  • Background within logistics, distribution, transportation, FMCG, or industrial operations.
  • Experience in customer-centric, service-driven environments.
  • Exposure to employee relations and unionized environments.
  • Track record of leading organizational change and fostering team alignment.
