Inside Sales Representative Eastern Europe

For our client in Merchtem, we are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to support and develop customer relationships across Eastern Europe.

Our client is an international wholesaler specialising in industrial sealing solutions, including O-rings, technical seals and customised sealing products. The company supplies technical distributors and industrial trading partners worldwide.

You will join a small, internationally oriented sales team where customer relationships, technical understanding and commercial initiative are equally important.

Your focus will be on managing existing accounts while identifying opportunities to develop new business. Approximately 70% of your activities will involve existing customers, with the remaining 30% focused on new customer acquisition.

What will you do?

• Manage and develop relationships with existing B2B customers.
• Identify potential customers and open new accounts.
• Work closely with the External Sales Representative to develop sales opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, calculate prices and follow up on commercial proposals.
• Process customer orders and monitor their progress.
• Maintain regular contact with customers by telephone and email.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities within the existing product range.
• Encourage customers to use the company's digital ordering tools.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and commercial requests.
• Keep customer information accurate and up to date in the internal system.
• Develop an understanding of customer applications, market developments and competitors.
• Monitor commercial opportunities and report on sales activities.
• Support colleagues when needed and contribute to the daily operation of the sales department.
