We are looking for a Data Governance & Compliance Officer to help shape and strengthen enterprise-wide data governance and compliance practices within a complex, regulated environment. This role sits at the intersection of Business, IT, Risk, Security, Legal and Privacy teams, ensuring data is managed effectively, securely and in line with regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the data governance roadmap and framework.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, Data Act and other regulations.
- Improve data quality, metadata and lifecycle management.
- Lead governance initiatives, training and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor governance maturity, KPIs and adoption.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in Data Governance, Data Management or IT Governance.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working across business and IT teams.
- Familiarity with data quality and governance tools.
- Fluent English plus Dutch or French.
