The Technical Sales Specialist will prepare technical customer requests and project quotations in close cooperation with the field sales team and internal product specialists. She/he will translate technical input, specifications, and customer inquiries into accurate and well-substantiated quotations.
Your key responsibilities:
- Analysing specifications, plans, and customer requests
- Preparing project quotations, calculations and pricing proposals
- Making product selections and develop suitable solutions
- Supporting the field sales team and account managers with technical and commercial expertise
- Monitoring the accuracy, quality and pricing of quotations
- Coordinating with sales, customers and internal stakeholders to arrive at the right solution
- Answering technical questions
- Actively following up on quotations through to the actual order
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a commercial, technical or project-based environment
- Experience in electrical engineering, technical distribution, construction, or installation technology is a plus
- Accuracy and ability to bring structure to files and processes, with focus on the "project journey"
- Enjoying working together within a team
- Taking responsibility
