Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Brussels for three Environmental, Health and Safety Consultant positions (French, Spanish, US). The consultants will conduct EHS regulatory research and analysis for assigned countries and industries, prepare clear written reports and guidance documents, and support clients in understanding and managing operational EHS and product stewardship risks. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring regulatory developments, interpreting legal and technical requirements, contributing to advisory projects, and collaborating with international experts and partners. The role also involves participating in client meetings, delivering training or briefings on EHS topics, and supporting internal knowledge-sharing and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with practical understanding of workplace risk assessment and control measures.
  • Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and frameworks, including experience in regulatory analysis or compliance advisory.
  • Candidates should possess recognized EHS certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent credentials, demonstrating formal training in safety and health management.
  • Candidates should possess training and facilitation skills, with the ability to design and deliver clear, engaging EHS training sessions or briefings.
  • Relevant university degree in environmental science, occupational health, engineering, law, or a related field.
  • Professional fluency in English and at least one of the following: French, Spanish, or experience with US EHS regulatory context; additional languages are an asset.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to translate complex regulations into practical guidance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an international team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced advisory environment.
  • Prior experience in consultancy, regulatory affairs, or corporate EHS management is highly beneficial.
