Role Summary
As a Scheduling Officer you will assist Program Managers and an Officer, managing schedules for Infrastructure projects from design to commercial operations, improving governance, and providing training and coaching on schedule management.
Responsibilities
- Define, validate, and challenge schedule management approaches, incorporating environmental factors and program-specific constraints.
- Establish a framework for managing schedules and set scheduling requirements for EPC contractors.
- Document the schedule management approach in the Schedule Management Plan.
- Contribute to integrating the program schedule with other project management knowledge areas such as scope, procurement, contract and interface management.
- Establish and maintain the program schedule using Microsoft Project (MSP) and Primavera P6, including setting up structure, organizing necessary meetings, and challenging inputs.
- Apply estimating techniques for schedule durations and variances, introduce advanced techniques where needed.
- Perform progress monitoring and schedule analysis & reporting, including change impact analysis and schedule risk assessment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role with knowledge of PMBOK and schedule management techniques.
- Expert knowledge of MS Office, specifically MS Project/Primavera P6.
- Knowledge of infrastructure projects (Engineering, Construction) and/or high‑voltage transmission or offshore works is an asset.
- Proactive, strong communicator and team player, able to gather scheduling inputs critically.
- Data‑driven analytical skills to translate analysis into clear conclusions.
- Fluency in Dutch and French required; good knowledge of English.
