About Merchery
Merchery was founded on a simple observation: corporate gifts and promotional products are most often of poor quality. This multibillion-dollar market lacks transparency and is often made up of products that people throw away after two weeks.
At Merchery, we are committed to challenging the status quo. Our vision is clear: we want to offer products that are beautiful, useful and carefully selected, creating genuine excitement among the people who receive them. As a fast-growing start-up, launched in April 2020, we are looking for our next team member to help drive this change.
The Role
As a Production Intern, you will join the Fulfillment team and learn how our day-to-day operations work. You will be trained to manage orders from A to Z and will also contribute to operational projects designed to improve our processes and tools.
To carry out these responsibilities, you will work closely with the Sales team, our suppliers and our logistics partners to ensure smooth and accurate operations, as well as an outstanding customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Placing and tracking orders with our suppliers
- Managing production projects from start to finish, from product ordering to delivery to the customer
- Coordinating and carefully monitoring international shipments
- Monitoring inventory levels and managing replenishment
- Maintaining and improving our production database
- Ensuring accurate reporting between suppliers, Sales teams and Product teams
- Guaranteeing an outstanding customer experience at every stage
- Analysing operational data and KPIs to improve and monitor process performance
- Using AI tools to automate and continuously improve operational processes
- Independently leading the implementation of new processes, from identifying the need through to production rollout
Could You Be the One?
- You are organised, rigorous and detail-oriented
- You are resourceful and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously, which is essential
- You are comfortable using digital tools and are not afraid to explore new software or automate tasks
- You are reliable and autonomous, while knowing when to ask for help
- You take ownership of your responsibilities and follow them through to completion
- You are fluent in French and English. Any other language is a plus
- You are curious about logistics, supply chain and/or e-commerce
- You enjoy working as part of a team, communicating clearly and receiving feedback
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or have equivalent experience
What We Offer
We aspire to create a dynamic and ideal working environment. In addition to flexibility, you will be given real responsibilities, and one thing is certain: you will have an impact on the company, the environment and all our partners.
Our commitment to your well-being goes beyond the professional environment. We regularly organise team-building activities and events to foster a dynamic and collaborative company culture.
Merchery is experiencing exceptional growth, and we are convinced that this project has the potential to become a global success.
Our Recruitment Process
- An initial conversation with our People Manager, Annabelle, to get to know you and assess your motivation and cultural fit
- An interview with Constance, the Manager, followed by a practical case study to assess your skills, attention to detail and ability to manage operational situations
- A final interview with Benoit, Co-founder, to confirm the overall fit and finalise the offer
