We're looking for a Security Engineer to join a growing cyber security team focused on delivering modern Microsoft security solutions for enterprise clients. You'll play a key role in implementing, configuring and optimising security technologies while helping organisations strengthen their cyber resilience and align with NIS2 requirements. This is a hands-on engineering position with exposure to security roadmaps, compliance initiatives and security transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender security solutions.
- Implement and manage Conditional Access, MFA and Identity Protection.
- Support endpoint security, hardening and Zero Trust initiatives.
- Implement and optimise SentinelOne XDR environments.
- Assist with the development and delivery of cyber security roadmaps.
- Support NIS2 implementation projects and technical compliance activities.
- Perform security remediation following audits, assessments and reviews.
- Collaborate with consultants, architects and clients on security improvements.
- Monitor, maintain and continuously improve security controls and configurations.
- Produce technical documentation and operational procedures.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Microsoft Security or Endpoint Security.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender, Entra ID and Identity & Access Management.
- Good understanding of NIS2 and its practical implementation within organisations.
- Experience contributing to security improvement plans, roadmaps or transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and modern security architectures.
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with SentinelOne, ISO 27001 or similar frameworks is advantageous.
