Our client, a leading organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is looking for a Data Pipeline Analyst to lead and optimize data initiatives. The role combines data analysis, semantic modeling, and the enhancement of data pipelines to ensure interoperability and data quality.

  • Analyze stakeholder requirements for data structuring and semantic modeling across operational departments.
  • Define the scope, objectives, and planning for small to medium-sized data projects.
  • Design and evolve semantic data models using RDF and OWL to ensure data coherence and reusability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reliability, and performance within data pipelines.
  • Develop reports, KPIs, and dashboards tailored to the needs of operational users.
  • Coordinate with data and ICT teams to facilitate workshops and support cross-functional decision-making.
  • Document data architectures and functional choices using SPARX Enterprise Architect.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL for data extraction and transformation across systems like PostgreSQL or Oracle.
  • 5+ years of experience in semantic modeling using Linked Data technologies such as RDF and OWL.
  • 5+ years of experience using SPARX Enterprise Architect for modeling data structures and architectures.
  • 5+ years of experience in data pipeline analysis and the functional design of data flows.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis to derive insights for operational use cases.
  • 5+ years of experience in reporting and visualization tools like Grafana to develop operational dashboards.
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, including defining deliverables and planning.
  • You are proactive, reliable, and possess strong communication and presentation skills.
  • You are fluent in English with a C1 level in French or Dutch and a passive knowledge of the other.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Linux environments and Shell/Bash scripting.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices such as Scrum and CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration tools such as IBM MQ, MQTT, or TIBCO.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
  • Willingness to participate in a standby duty rotation.
