Software Architect / Technical Writer - Manufacturing Systems - Braine-l’Alleud

For a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Braine-l’Alleud, we are looking for a Software Architect to support the implementation and deployment of software systems within a GxP environment.

The role focuses on the technical side of software implementation across manufacturing. You will work with internal teams and software vendors to understand system architecture, data flows and design specifications, and coordinate the installation and deployment of systems across an international manufacturing environment.

• Support the implementation and deployment of software systems within manufacturing
• Work with global teams on the deployment of systems across multiple sites
• Review system architecture, interfaces and data flows
• Translate requirements into system design specifications
• Coordinate with software vendors during design, implementation and deployment
• Coordinate system installation and deployment activities
• Produce technical documentation and system specifications
• Document system architecture, interfaces, data flows and dependencies
• Support technical decisions relating to manufacturing software systems
• Work with IT, manufacturing, automation and engineering teams

• 5+ Experience in software implementation or deployment
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of MES or manufacturing execution systems
• Knowledge of Siemens systems and/or AVEVA is a plus
• Knowledge of GxP and experience working within a regulated environment
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector is a plus
• Fluent in English / Ideally French
