Join NAAMII’s AI & Society (Governance Lab) and work at the intersection of AI policy, governance, and ethics.
As part of this internship, you will support a national-level AI governance gap analysis in Nepal, working under the direct supervision of Sandhya Sitoula. The role offers hands‑on exposure to policy research aligned with international frameworks such as UNESCO and OECD, while building strong foundations in AI governance and digital policy research.

Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, public policy, international relations, development studies, computer science, data science, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in AI governance, digital policy, or technology ethics
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
- Ability to synthesize complex policy and technical information
- Familiarity with Nepal’s policy or governance landscape is an advantage
