Acoustical engineer

At PSS, we’re looking for an Acoustical Engineer to help shape the future of sound. If you're excited about pushing the boundaries of audio technology, this could be your perfect role

What will you do at PSS?

• Lead the acoustic design and architecture of transducers and their sub-components
• Work in an enthusiastic project team developing cutting-edge audio transducers
• Experiment with tools like COMSOL, Klippel, MATLAB, anechoic chambers, and 3D printers
• Trust your ears Critical listening is just as important as measurement
• Apply hands-on mentality to test and enhance your own designs
• Be part of an international team of 15 acoustic engineers
• Occasionally travel to customers, suppliers, and PSS production facilities worldwide

What do you bring to PSS?

• A background in acoustics, electronics, electromechanics, or physics is a plus
• Experience with speaker measurement/evaluation or DIY projects
• Familiarity with simulation, tuning tools, and FEA is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in English (our office has 20 nationalities)
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and team spirit
