For a major Belgian public sector organisation, we are looking for a Business Analyst to support a strategic programme focused on the optimisation and evolution of large-scale digital systems used for monitoring, data processing and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyse current business processes, applications and infrastructure.
- Gather, challenge and document business and functional requirements.
- Define future-state processes and support solution design activities.
- Produce functional and technical documentation.
- Identify risks, dependencies and operational impacts.
- Support knowledge transfer and transition towards operational teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, analysts and technical teams.
- Ensure structured reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Profile
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within complex IT environments.
- Strong skills in business analysis, process mapping and requirements management.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in public sector environments is an asset.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Visio or similar tools.
Languages
- Dutch or French, with a good knowledge of the other national language.
- Professional English.
