Join a fast-growing Trade Tech SaaS scale-up as their Community & Event Marketing Manager. Not an event planner: you turn their events and community into a machine that delivers warm leads.
About the company
- A Belgian SaaS company that automates end-to-end customs and trade operations for large enterprises
- Their unique team combines customs and trade experts with top-tier engineers
- They already run virtual roundtables, own events and partner events – now it's time to connect them into one engine
What you will do
- Decide which events to run, for which buyer persona, with which narrative and content
- Connect virtual roundtables, own events, partner events and executive dinners into one flywheel – guests move from one to the next and come back
- Build concepts per target group (e.g. supply chain managers in a specific vertical): their pains, which companies, who to invite
- Be in the room: talk to C-level guests and keep the community active
- Get the SDRs and sales team doing the right pre-work and follow-up – and hold them to it
- Work with the content marketer, an SEO freelancer and a creative video agency to fill and activate the community
- You're measured on warm leads and pipeline, not on smooth events
- 5+ years as a strong project manager with a commercial and marketing mindset – e.g. field marketing, event or community marketing, or a commercial role owning events
- Analytical and commercially sharp: you know what an event should deliver before you book a venue
- You understand B2B enterprise sales cycles and work closely with SDRs and sales
- Outgoing and confident with senior and C-level stakeholders
- Hands-on: small team, so you also execute yourself
- Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a big plus
- Customs, logistics or supply chain knowledge is a bonus, not a must
- Up to €60k base, depending on profile
- Company car + net allowances, insurance and meal vouchers
- Hybrid: regularly at the office near Mechelen station (based in Belgium or the Netherlands, not fully remote)
