- Engage with defence and security users to understand situational-awareness and force-protection needs
- Scope solutions against customer operational requirements
- Design, build, and deploy Palantir Foundry data pipelines, ontology models, and operator-facing applications
- Integrate live intelligence into existing workflows, common operating pictures, and command-and-control tooling
- Build and tune custom widgets based on user needs
- Own solutions end to end, from initial whiteboard sketch through operational deployment
- Debug infrastructure, networking, and application issues across the full stack
- Work in restricted, disconnected, or on-premise environments
- Advise customer engineers and operators and relay feedback into the product
- Travel to customer sites and operations centres in Europe approximately 25%–75% of the time
Requirements
- Strong engineering background in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or an equally technical field
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Code Repositories, Workbooks, and application development
- Fluency in at least one of Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash, or Go
- Three or more years of professional software engineering or forward-deployed/solutions engineering experience shipping systems into production
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar platform architectures and data models
- Experience with Docker or Podman containers and Kubernetes or OpenShift orchestration
- Solid Linux, networking, and on-premise fundamentals
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to travel and work on site in secure customer facilities
- Candidates must have the right to work in the EU, or be UK-based
- Security clearance required
