Freelance Construction Supervisor | Food Industry | Major CAPEX Project | Immediate Start – End of 2026

Experienced Freelance Construction Supervisor sought for Food partner in West Flanders to support a large-scale capital investment project.

Start- As soon as possible

Location- South of West-Flanders (must live in the area because of on-site working)

Type- Freelance contract via Amoria Bond

Duration- until end of 2026

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day construction and installation activities on site.
  • Coordinate and manage contractors and subcontractors.
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure work is delivered according to schedule.
  • Identify and resolve construction-related issues and elevate where necessary.
  • Liaise with Project Management, Engineering, Operations, and contractors.
  • Report on project progress, safety performance, and any deviations.

Profile

  • Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor on large industrial or CAPEX projects.
  • Experience within the food industry is highly preferred. Experience in other regulated industries (e.g. pharmaceutical, chemical, FMCG) will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of construction execution and contractor management.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • English is mandatory, ideally Dutch and/or French as 2nd language

Working Hours

Construction activities start early in the morning and continue until approximately 22:00. To ensure continuous site supervision, the Construction Supervisor will work in a two-shift schedule, covering the construction activities between approximately 05:00/06:00 and 22:00. There will be work done on Saturdays, so working on a Saturday every now and then will be included.
