As a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer, you play a key role in optimizing the performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities include:
- Analyzing production data to improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
- Identifying and proposing technical improvements for equipment and continuously seeking process optimization opportunities.
- Managing improvement projects to implement solutions in both the short and long term.
- Developing and maintaining maintenance strategies covering topics such as preventive maintenance, spare parts management, calibration, long-term replacement planning, risk assessment, and related processes.
- Investigating major equipment failures through structured analysis and coordinating cross-functional teams consisting of maintenance technicians, production operators, and quality specialists to resolve issues.
- Supporting the effective resolution of quality issues together with Quality teams. With a continuous improvement mindset, you identify root causes and determine appropriate corrective actions and risk mitigation measures.
- Assessing the quality impact of equipment modifications by identifying the required qualification and validation activities, and coordinating their execution within a multidisciplinary team.
- Monitoring key performance indicators such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification through relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
- Good understanding of GMP regulations, Change Control, equipment qualification, and related quality systems.
- Knowledge of automation and control systems, pneumatics, PLC troubleshooting, mechanical systems, and technical drawings is considered an asset.
